LatticeScan

Reserve attestation

El Salvador Strategic Bitcoin Reserve

On 29 August 2025 the National Bitcoin Office announced it had moved the national reserve out of a single reused address into multiple new, unused addresses of up to 500 BTC each, because an unused address with a hashed public key stays protected while a spent-from address reveals its key. It committed to publicly cataloguing every reserve address. This attestation reads that catalogue from the office’s own explorer and checks, at each visit, whether the stated policy still holds.

Published policy holds at this snapshot

20 of 20 published addresses read. Total 7,777.3743 BTC; largest single address 500.001 BTC. 0 BTC (0.0%) sits behind an already-exposed public key. 2 emptied addresses have a revealed key but hold no funds, which is consistent with a migration away from them. The stated policy holds for every address at this snapshot.

This attestation is signed with ML-DSA-65 (NIST FIPS 204), key id 0a072a1bfe103179. LatticeScan holds none of these funds and has no relationship with the holder. Anyone can verify it is genuine against the published key, without trusting us or the holder.

Balances are read from public chain data at the snapshot time; the method is the same as the exposure report. This page is regenerated at most every five minutes against the holder’s live catalogue. About reserve attestations.
